A Global Showcase:

FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025 Welcomes the World Through National Pavilions

From returning favourites to exciting new country debuts, FIND spotlights the pulse of design innovation across Asia and Europe - all unfolding at Southeast Asia’s most influential design fair.

FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025, a key event of the Singapore Design Week, returns 11 - 13 September 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre as the region’s premier platform for design, with a growing international footprint.

At the heart of this year’s edition is a dynamic lineup of national pavilions, each offering a window into their countries’ evolving design narratives.

From Europe to Southeast Asia, the pavilions reflect both the diversity and shared values shaping global design today. Italy, a cornerstone of FIND since its inception, will be showcasing many of its leading furniture and interior brands.

Joining them are country pavilions Singapore, Thailand, Czech Republic, Indonesia, as well as country collectives France, Hong Kong and Taiwan each bringing distinct cultural perspectives and craftsmanship to the fore.

Altogether, the pavilions reinforce FIND’s role as a vital meeting point — not just for commerce, but for cultural exchange and design diplomacy.

Amid rising global trade tensions, shifting supply chains, and persistent tariff uncertainties, furniture and design brands are accelerating their pivot toward Asia. This is particularly so in ASEAN — a resilient and high-growth region with a population of over 680 million.

Vietnam alone has emerged as the world’s second-largest furniture exporter, with annual exports exceeding USD 10 billion, a shift partly fuelled by US-China trade realignment.

With the ASEAN furniture market projected to grow at over 5% CAGR through 2029, the region offers not just cost efficiencies and favourable trade policies, but a booming domestic demand driven by urbanisation and a rising middle class.

Together, these factors position Southeast Asia as a vital engine for global design and furniture expansion.

Meanwhile, luxury developments such as Park Nova in Singapore and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok are driving a rise in premium interiors.

One of the clearest indicators of growth is ASEAN’s booming hospitality sector, which is reshaping the furniture landscape. In December 2024, Hilton announced its footprint in Asia Pacific had surpassed 1,000 trading hotels - up from 761 the previous year and well ahead of its 2025 target.

Accor has also signed 27 new hotel projects, totalling over 8,100 keys, across key ASEAN markets including Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Indonesia and Thailand have also experienced a surge of luxury villas, resorts, and serviced apartments in Bali and Phuket.

As luxury resorts and boutique hotels multiply, demand is surging for durable, design-led, and sustainable furniture. This presents a golden opportunity for furniture brands - especially those offering bespoke craftsmanship and eco-conscious materials - to become the furnishing partners of choice in ASEAN’s fast-growing hospitality ecosystem.

Italian Pavilion

Supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA - Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Pavilion returns to FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025 with a strong lineup of companies that reflect Italy’s reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and contemporary living.

Among the highlights are refined outdoor furniture collections that combine sustainability with timeless aesthetics. Modular kitchen systems on display illustrate the evolution of Italian kitchen design in modern homes.

Premium game tables showcase a fusion of playful design and exceptional manufacturing, while innovative sleep systems focus on ergonomics and wellness. Completing the selection are surface materials rooted in Italy’s stoneworking tradition, offering solutions that are both architectural and expressive.

These pavilions underscore FIND’s growing role as a global meeting point for design thought and expression.

Mother Goose; Moonler

Curated by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand, and the Thai Trade Centre, Singapore, the pavilions brings together some 20 handpicked Thai brands, emerging designers, SMEs and artisans.

Deesawat Industries, renowned for its eco-conscious outdoor collections and masterful woodcraft, leads the charge alongside Moonler Collection, which transforms solid teak into sculptural contemporary pieces rooted in Lanna heritage; Mother Goose blends timeless elegance with meticulous Thai craftsmanship.

Rounding off the showcase is Able Interior Workshop, known for its refined interiors and bespoke wooden furniture that bridge tradition and modernity with quiet sophistication.

“The momentum gathering around the national pavilions at FIND - Design Fair Asia 2025 speaks volumes about the global design industry’s interest in ASEAN. From Europe to the region’s creative capitals, countries are choosing FIND as a platform to tell their design stories and forge new commercial connections,” said Carl Press, Event Director of FIND.

“Whether it’s Italy’s continued leadership, the debut of new pavilions from France and Thailand, or the return of regional stalwarts like Indonesia, each presence contributes to a richer, more connected global design conversation - and underscores FIND’s role as a bridge between cultures, markets, and ideas.”
