Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD)
ICAD is a large art exhibition and convention that collaborates on design, art, technology, entertainment, as well as the hospitality industry, which also elevates local Indonesian heritage. This event is a solid display of the idea of interdisciplinary collaboration that was first initiated in Indonesia. We believe that Indonesia’s design and art have an enormous potential to become more popular in the community and also contribute to advancing the creative economy.
This year, the 10th ICAD will return and will be held from October 16 to November 30, 2019, in grandkemang Hotel Jakarta. This large exhibition will last for 6 weeks and will be filled with various supporting activities in the form of conventions and collaborative art performances.
Held for the first time in 2009, ICAD has become a large-scale exhibition, promoting design and contemporary art in Indonesia. It is held for 6 to 8 weeks, accompanied with fringe events, conventions, workshops, and film screening.
Yayasan Design+Art Indonesia is a foundation initiated by a group of designers from various disciplines and experiences.
The vision of the foundation is to establish a growing and strong creative industry in Indonesia, focusing on the quality of human resources and the abundance of Indonesian art and culture
